Cornell battles brake issues in Comp Cams event at Springfield Raceway

Making a Comp Cams Super Dirt Series start, Kaeden Cornell checked into Springfield (Mo.) Raceway on Saturday afternoon for the series' $5,000-to-win event.

Dealing with brake issues throughout hot laps and qualifying, Cornell got stuck in the back of a heat race which relegated him to a B-Main. Needing a Top-4 finish, Kaeden just didn't have enough time to catch up and finished seventh.
