Runner-up finish for Cornell at Lucas Oil Speedway
Kaeden Cornell returned to the driver’s seat of the Hoover Motorsports No. 50 Late Model over the weekend for Saturday’s Big Adventure RV Weekly Championship Series event at Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Mo.).
With a fourth-to-second run in his heat race positioning him on the second row for the A-Main, Cornell muscled forward one spot in the 20-lap affair to register a second-place finish. He trailed Justin Wells across the line with Tucker Cox, J.C. Morton, and Kyle Graves rounding out the Top-5.
