Kaeden Cornell notches fifth-place finish in Hell Tour debut at Springfield

Making his debut with the DIRTcar Summer Nationals, Kaeden Cornell invaded Springfield Raceway (Springfield, Mo.) on Tuesday afternoon for the 11th round of the Hell Tour.

With 27 Late Models on the grounds, Cornell followed up the third-fastest qualifying lap in his time trial group with a third-to-first showing in his heat race. Chasing a $5,000 payday in the feature, Kaeden raced to a fifth-place finish in the 40-lap affair. He trailed Logan Martin, Billy Moyer Jr., Ashton Winger, and Morgan Bagley across the line in his best finish of the 2023 season.
