Kaeden Cornell
Ninth place finish in Cash Money stop at Tri-State Speedway
Friday night saw Kaeden Cornell return to action at Tri-State Speedway (Pocola, Okla.) for the Dirt Track Bank Cash Money Super Dirt Series sanctioned program. In a field of 32 cars, Kaeden edged his way into the opening night feature with a fourth place finish in his heat. With $1,000 on the line, Cornell gained four spots in the 30-lapper to place ninth.
On Saturday afternoon at Springfield Raceway (Springfield, Mo.), Cornell was an early exit of his heat race, transferring him into the B-Main. Coming in second behind Mark Simon, Kaeden locked into the 16th-starting position for the $1,000-to-win finale. Running into trouble early, Kaeden Cornell suffered a broken wheel hub that sidelined him for the remainder of the 30-lap affair.
