Cornell attends Lucas Oil doubleheader at Wheatland

Taking part in the two-day event, Kaeden Cornell made the short trip to Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Mo.) on Saturday afternoon for the 28th annual Show-Me 100. With 44 cars on hand for the event co-sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) and the Lucas Oil MLRA, Cornell jumped up three spots in his heat to register an eighth place finish. Needing a third place finish or better in his B-Main to make the $20,000-to-win A-Main, Kaeden logged an eighth place finish.

1The following night for the CMH Diamond Nationals, Kaeden came in eighth in his heat, giving him one final shot at the finale with a B-Main appearance. Sending the Top 3 into the show, Cornell fell back to a 13th place outing.
