Cornell Bags a Pair of Fourth Place Finishes at Volusia Speedway Park

Monday night found Kaeden Cornell in action at the (virtual) Volusia (FL) Speedway Park for the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model iRacing Invitational event leading up to the eDirt Racing Shootout on Tuesday evening. In a field of 40 cars, Cornell topped the charts in time trials before cruising to a 10-lap heat race victory. Earning the pole position for the main event, Kaeden slipped up three spots to place fourth behind Corey Gordon, Ashton Winger, and Nick Stroupe with Eric Riggins coming in fifth.

The following night earning the sixth-starting position for the eDirt Racing Shootout, Kaeden gained two spots in the 35-lapper to register a fourth place finish behind Mike McKinney, Corey Gordon, and Trent Ivey with Nick Stroupe coming in fifth. (Joe Grabianowski photo)
